I made the mistake of taking my car to a different shop... it wasn’t running right after that even though that shop test-drove it at my request a number of times. Finally the car exhibited random irregular stalling and I went to Model Garage. Even though the car , of course wouldn’t stall for the mechanics (it had stalled 3 times en route to the shop), the Model Garage team was Doggedly (woof:) persistent. I am so grateful they have the long term mechanics they have! Highly recommend theIr skills and Volvo savvy-ness! Me and my vintage, tried and true ‘86 Volvo are now purring along again... no more going to other shops!! Many, many thanks to the Model Garage Team!

I went to the Model Garage in the 90s with two different Volvos. Don and Peter gave me credit! I am sad to see that we lost Peter but so happy to see the business thriving. It's a pretty special place.

I brought my 2008 Prius to Model Garage after getting my catalytic converter stolen not once, but twice. The staff were absolutely wonderful about squeezing me in for a last-minute appointment to get the Cat Security anti-theft plate installed. I had my car back within 2 hours. They were great about the whole process and the cost was well worth the peace of mind. It was also about half the price of other places that install similar anti-theft hardware in the Bay Area. The price quoted on the website is actually what you pay. Would definitely take my car back here for service.
