As always, great service in a timely manner. I like being able to drop the car off early. I do love my car!

Model Garage can always solve what ails my car. I am able to get appointments when I need one, and the work gets done in a timely fashion. Everyone is pleasant and helpful.

Good communication re about the car, when to bring it in; when to pick it up; good records on what has been done in the past, what is to be done in the future. I trust my older toyotas to their care, that the garage knows what they need, and importantly not recommending what is not needed.

I've owned Volvo wagons since 1994 and have had my cars serviced at most of the Volvo-focused repair shops in Berkeley, including McKevitt. The Model Garage is a breath of fresh air. They operate a clean, well-organized shop and definitely know how to listen and communicate with a customer. My 2008 XC70 simply needed a 120K mile service with an emphasis on safety checks. I was given a detailed written explanation of the car's brakes and tire status, with a recommendation to delay repairs until absolutely needed . What a refreshing approach!

Model Garage saves the day again for me. I was on my way to a meeting and my assembly belt somehow was lost. I had no power steering and red lights on the dashboard. What made it worse I was on the freeway with trucks and busses behind me. I was able to steer well enough to an exit. I called Model garage and we agreed I'd have the car towed to the garage where the car was repaired and was available the next day. I can't say enough about Model Garage. They take great care of their customers.
