My parents used to go here for their old Toyota and now I come here with my new one. I'm grateful there's a local, smart group of technicians who've been doing this for so long in the area. I went to an official Toyota repair shop for the first few "free" repairs that came with the car purchase. But, every time it was an ordeal, the technicians I could tell weren't treated well by their managers, and more than half the visits the car wasn't ready. One time they not only lost the keys, but forgot about my car for an hour or more while I waited. Model garage feels like a family owned business with folks that actually care, have a good work environment, and have a sense of humor about cars to boot. I get the feeling they wouldn't bullshit me if my Corolla was in need of serious repair. I also get the feeling they won't sell me something unnecessary, even if it added to their coffers. In short: I trust them, I don't trust Toyota.
