When the Lexus dealership flagged an "urgent/critical" suspension issue (cracked control arm bushings) on my 2007 Lexus RX350 and quoted $4k, I figured it was time to find a reputable independent shop. The Model Garage was highly recommended by a trusted Toyota-owner friend and they didn't disappoint! Everyone was super kind and approachable, they clearly explained the outcome of their inspection and recommendations over the phone, and I got the detailed estimate via email as well - super smooth! Above all, they were very honest, low pressure, and super fair! They confirmed the Lexus dealership findings but let me know that I could wait a bit to get the work done, and their estimate ended up being around $1,600 for the same job, in line with what seemed to be the internet consensus for a reasonable estimate. I'll definitely be back!
