I've found a few other Volvo repair shops in the US that come close to Model Garage, but if I want my car to be thoroughly looked over and fixed properly, no bullshit, I wait until I'm back in California and bring it here. It is important to have OCD service on a car when you don't want it breaking down on the interstate, in the middle of hundreds of miles of cornfields or desert!

Sorted out my problem and resolved to my satisfaction. Saved a few bucks as well!

While vehicle maintenance and repair is never pleasant (it always costs too much), going to the Model Garage is always pleasant! The knowlegable folks there always make you feel welcome and they are genuinely interested in what your car needs. My wife tells me she does not feel intimidated when she brings her car there. They do not make her feel stupid for not knowing what is wrong, it's enough that she has a concern about how the car is driving. Don and crew are great, they have solved many problems that other mechanics could not diagnos. Thumbs up to the Model Garage!!!
