The Model Garage is fantastic! Everyone there is kind, funny, knowledgeable, thoughtful, smart, and clear. Don helped me to buy my first car and has kept me -- and everyone else in my family -- safe for years! I love knowing that I can go to The Model Garage and completely trust whatever they say without question. Whenever I have a question I call and ask and they are always friendly and happy to teach me about how my car works! I feel so lucky to have a place like The Model Garage where I can send my car! It's a great place and I feel like they're watching out for me (and my budget). The location is perfect--near Ashby BART, but a short walk to downtown Berkeley. And, yes, the recommendation to have breakfast at Sconehedge worked out, too.

It's thursday 5 pm and my temp gauge is heading for the red zone. Called Don and he is there for me a little after closing for a quick diagnosis of split radiator. Friday afternoon and I'm good to go UNDER the estimated price.

We've been taking our cars to the Model Garage for more than twenty years. Our 86' Volvo has over 350,000 miles. It's great having a neighborhood garage that we can depend on for servicing our cars. The work that is going to be performed is always clearly explained when we drop our cars off for servicing and we are always called if it is determined that additional work needs to be done. We always feel that we are getting outstanding, friendly, honest service.
