Quick replacement of a dying alternator, which involved a battery replacement as well on my old (2006) Lexus. I ended up having the standard 150K mile service done at the same time. Robert was great and prompt with communicating -- when he said he'd call me back, he called me back; when he said the alternator/battery would be about $800, it was; when he said it'd be ready most likely the next day, it was ready. I've been going here for several years for the infrequent issues on my 1998 Camry and now this Lexus, and the work has been good, although not always inexpensive. It was easy to drop off my car, which had died on the freeway because of a failing alternator. I didn't realize that I could have had it towed directly to the Model Garage after hours, but they told me it would have been fine. Also (my fault, really), the major service schedule included an oil change, and I should have asked since I just changed the oil a couple weeks ago, so $80 down the literal drain.
Thank you James, So glad we were able to get you back on the road so quickly. Just a note about services on your vehicle. We always follow the manufactures recommendation and it always include an oil and filter change. We do not recommend just an oil change. As a vehicle gets older, it is best to have the recommended inspections performed to ensure that nothing comes up unexpectedly. Since we specialize in Toyota and Lexus vehicles, we have the right training, equipment and part to keep your car going for years and years. Robert, Model Garage.
