Losing a catalytic converter isn’t fun, especially if you’ve had a Cat Shield installed. Unfortunately, the bad guys are adapting and a more secure shield is now a necessity. Model Garage understands this better than anyone, and provided me same day replacement of the converter (not cheap!) as well as better protection. The car was only unavailable less than a day. Great service!

Great first experience! Was looking for a new mechanic in the East Bay (Berkeley) area and was really pleased. They were transparent about everything with the services, and were prompt to communicate about the progress of everything. Will definitely be going back next time we need service on our Toyotas.

Absolutely best service! My main problem was solved, struts replaced and my car definitely feels smoother on the ragged Berkeley streets.

I could just go to the garage down the street, which does good work. But for comprehensive safety checks and recommendations for preventative maintenance, The Model Garage can't be beat. It's worth braving BART, which is close by.
