The Model Garage has taken care of me for decades, whenever I owned a car that they service. Since Peter and Don were still running the show, and since my classmate Dan Edinoff worked here after high school. Even when I didn’t have a car that they serviced, I worked sometimes come in to ask someone at the front desk for car advice. They’re also our neighbors, as my dad lives behind the shop and my office is down the block. They care about their neighbors. It’s a daily ritual to see Robert walking the dog down Newbury Street, and sometimes stopping to say hello. And now I talk to Doreen about how to bring more pollinators into the small planting area in front of the garage.
