I just moved to Berkeley and needed a new mechanic, and I was so happy to find The Model Garage! They're friendly, efficient, do great work, and prices are reasonable (and you can tell they're actually trying to save you money rather than sell you on things!). I'll definitely be using them for all of my Prius' needs.

Excellent, friendly, knowledgeable service as always - and most of important of all for a mechanic, they don't pressure you to do stuff you don't need to do, so you're confident when they do recommend something that it actually makes sense. My family has been going to the Model Garage for more than 30 years, and I hope we can continue to do so for another 30!

The service Model Garage provides is unparalleled -- I can't imagine taking my car (and every single one of the previous cars that I have owned -- all serviced exclusively by Model Garage!) anywhere else. The mechanics and customer service are fantastic. A couple of months ago I had a very complicated issue with my recently purchased Volvo, which they explained to me could potentially cost just a little less than I had paid for the car itself in order to fix...But thanks to their extremely knowledgable team and comprehensive understanding of my vehicle and the problem, they found an alternative solution that worked and saved me THOUSANDS of dollars. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my car... I ALWAYS call them to seek their opinion about anything related to my vehicle, and they are always happy to help in any way they can. They are simply the best. My family has been going to Model Garage for over 30 years, and we are always 100% satisfied with the service we receive. Highly, highly recommend.
